You are the reason a six-week cycle actually takes six weeks, and the reason nobody is surprised in week five.
What you will do
- Run cycle planning, scoping, and weekly reporting across two to three client squads
- Hold the line on scope, and negotiate the re-scope openly when it genuinely changes
- Track the agreed metric and report it, including when the number is bad
- Own the handover: documentation, training, and the exit that leaves the client self-sufficient
What we look for
- Delivery or engineering-management experience on software teams
- A bias toward writing things down
- The nerve to deliver unwelcome news early
