This policy explains what personal data Enterprise collects, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it. We handle personal data in line with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).

Who we are

Enterprise is a technology consultancy based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. For any question about this policy or your data, contact us at hello@enterprise-work.com.

What we collect

  • Information you give us. Your name, work email, phone number, company, and whatever you write in a form or send us by email.
  • Usage information. Basic, aggregated information about how pages on this site are used, such as which pages are visited and roughly where visitors are located.
  • Technical information. Standard request data such as browser type and IP address, held briefly for security and abuse prevention.

What we do not collect

We do not ask for, and you should never send us, sensitive personal data: identity card numbers, financial account details, health information, or credentials of any kind. If you send such information to us unprompted, we will delete it.

Why we use it

  • To respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, to scope and deliver work for you
  • To send the newsletter, if you asked for it
  • To improve this site and understand which content is useful
  • To meet our legal and contractual obligations

Legal basis and consent

We process the data you give us on the basis of your consent, given when you submit a form, and where necessary to perform a contract with you. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing us; withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before that point.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us operate (hosting, email delivery, and customer relationship tooling), and only to the extent they need it to provide that service. Where a provider processes data outside Malaysia, we take reasonable steps to ensure comparable protection.

Retention

We keep enquiry data for as long as we have an active relationship with you, and for up to 24 months afterwards. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. Where a legal obligation requires longer retention, we keep only what that obligation requires.

Your rights

  • Ask what personal data we hold about you and request a copy
  • Ask us to correct anything inaccurate or incomplete
  • Ask us to delete your data, subject to any legal obligation to retain it
  • Withdraw consent, or ask us to stop using your data for direct marketing

Cookies

This site uses only what is needed to serve pages and to measure aggregate usage. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. Your browser settings can block cookies without breaking the site.

Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege practices on the systems that hold personal data. No system is perfectly secure, and we will tell affected people promptly if a breach materially affects them.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update the date above and, where the change affects how we use data you have already given us, contact you directly.
